BELONGING IS HERE
Home, dwelling, residence. What notions get stirred up when one considers these broad yet personal aspects of our humanity? Opening the door to a dialogue of fluid definitions, where a multitude of narratives have a seat at the table, the exhibition hopes to simultaneously challenge, comfort and validate that which one labels “home".The works and objects exhibited gesture towards both overarching and specific conceptions of place. And though not all conditions deemed home are built from a foundation of care, we may recognize and or rebuild the spaces in which we reside, through mindful tending.
